Secure My Name to stay connected to your media

Use "secure my name" to make sure you don't get locked out of SacDrag if Meta suspends you

One of the most important features of SacDrag is that although we post excerpts or snippets of your media on Instagram, Instagram never owns your media. We host it online for you but you own it. Your media is stored safely and securely, encrypted within the SacDrag platform. No matter what Instagram does, it isn't going away. Instagram can't use it to train AI or use it for other purposes you don't approve of. And now, Instagram can't keep you from it either.

Secure My Name

Once you claim my name, you can then use secure my name to use Google to sign in to SacDrag as well as, or instead of Instagram. When the site sees a DM with the magic phrase secure my name, it will reply with a link for you to click that begins the process. This is similar to download my videos but this link also causes Instagram to open the link in your phone or desktop native browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc...). This part is important, it keeps Instagram from being able to see this or block this from working. The link opens to a page on the site where you are asked to choose which identity provider you would like to use. Right now, the site only supports using Google, other providers will be added in the future to let you sign in with an Apple or a Microsoft or other identity as well.

Once you click the Google button, you will be authenticated by Google (you may be asked to login if you have not logged in to your Google account recently) and the site will make the connection between your Google identity and your name on the site. Important note: This does not mean that SacDrag knows who you are, even if your actual name is in your email address. We don't get your email address, we don't get your name, we don't know anything about you other than the fact that you exist and you are the same person on the site.

You might ask why would we not want to know these things, even though you could make a fair argument that as a service provider, we should want to know them. The reason we do this is simple. It doesn't matter who you are, you deserve to be safe.
